KAMMA VIDYARDHI SAHAYA SANGHAM (KVSS)  was established in 1910 and in 1914 registered as KAMMA MAHAJANA SANGHAM , after that land was donated by Sri. YARLAGADDA PERAIAH CHOWDARY GARU , To construct a hostel for the benefit of kamma students. In 1924 the hostel building was constructed in Vijayawada named as GANDIKOTA BHAVAN , with the help of so many kamma community people lead by Sri.RAJA BAHADOOR .KOVELAMUDI GOPALAKRISHNAIAH GARU . Many kamma students in those days stayed in our kamma hostel, pursued their education and achieved very high positions in their lifes .  This is the vision of our founders.

                       In 1975 KVSS was re-registered under Indian govt act and all the activities are being continued till today. Later Gandikota bhavan  was converted into a commercial complex in 1994, and also another commercial complex constructed in Gunadala in 2000, along with boys hostel. In 2011 Ladies hostel was constructed and started in 2012.  As of now total 200  kamma students (boys& girls) are being accommodated and providing food and giving merit scholarships to the deserving students.
